My torch came in handy this morning (started at 4:30ish). I also still didn’t catch a cold!
I met MD-san, a guy from Ehime prefecture doing the pilgrimage a bit past five (or rather, I upset him sleeping in a rest hut)
I went ahead of him at that point, but I encountered him again later and we ended up walking together.
This photo was taken at 6:00, it wasn’t possible to take pictured before then because it was too dark.

a short mountain path
We ate lunch in a small shrine building. MD-san boiled spaghetti so I used the water afterwards to make a cup noodle.
A pleasant mountain path which was surprisingly not rough,
I reached Kumakougen Town and stayed at “Omogu ryokan”. The bath facilities were about as big as a small public bath.
